No particular steps taken as the issue has been ongoing for a long time now. Sims pregnancy bumps no longer grow smoothly and instead pop from one size. They do not react to this at all and I'm convinced that this did not happen when I first started playing the game upon release, as I recall pregnancy bumps growing smoothly at one point (like they do in The Sims 3).
